How use the blue tempered steel strapping?

When use the tempered steel strapping,first  leave some length for the interface.The factory which produce blue tempered steel strapping sugest that when cut off the blue tempered steel strapping,the interface should be 5cm near to the buckle.When recycle the old blue tempered steel strapping,the old buckle should be canceled  first.
